Server Rules

1. Character Creation Rules:
Players must create realistic and well-developed characters with believable backgrounds. Character names must be unique and not portray any known real life character.
Characters must adhere to the setting and time period of the server (Fort Carson is set in 2003).

2. In-Game Behavior:
Respect all other players at all times. No harassment, discrimination, or hate speech will be tolerated.
No metagaming (using out-of-character information in-character) or powergaming (forcing actions upon others without their consent).

3. Roleplay Quality:
Players must engage in high-quality roleplay and stay in-character (IC) at all times.
Avoid breaking character or using modern slang or references in the game’s 2000s setting.

  • No “bunnyhopping” or “chicken running”.
  • No “asspulling”.
    You are allowed to pull out a firearm without prior roleplay if you are in an active situation (being fired upon) and you realistically do not have time to roleplay taking out the firearm. All firearms bigger than pistols MUST be roleplayed at ALL times.

4. Illegal Activities:
Any criminal activities must be roleplayed realistically and within the server’s guidelines. No random killing or excessive violence.
No cheating, hacking, or exploiting in-game mechanics.

5. Law Enforcement Roleplay:
Law enforcement players must follow proper procedures and respect the rights of suspects.
Criminals must not intentionally target or harm law enforcement officers’ real-life identities.

6. Community and Communication:
Do not spam, troll, or engage in disruptive behaviour.

7. Out-of-Character (OOC) Chat:
Use a designated out-of-character chat for discussing server-related matters. Keep in-character chat for roleplay.
No out-of-character information should be used in-character.

8. Character Kill and Injury:
Serious injuries or character death may occur, but players should discuss and agree upon these situations in advance.
Admins should be involved in major character developments and deaths.

9. Server-Specific Rules:
Include any additional rules specific to your server, such as custom gameplay mechanics, factions, or organisations.

10. Reporting and Enforcement:
Players are encouraged to report rulebreakers, cheaters, exploits, bugs. If you do report one of the mentioned, make sure you provide proper evidence. A form of proper evidence is:

  • Video file format
  • Image file format

11. Roleplay Events and Story lines:
Encourage player-driven events and story lines that contribute to the server’s narrative.
Admins can facilitate these events and ensure they align with the server’s setting.

12. Privacy and Consent:
Respect the privacy and boundaries of all players. Ensure that sensitive and potentially triggering content is handled with care and player consent.

13. Server Lore and Continuity:
Maintain a consistent server lore and history to keep the roleplay world immersive.
Admins should oversee major changes to the server’s lore.

14. Character Progression:
Implement a system for character progression and development, such as skill-building and wealth accumulation.

15. Robbing:
Robbing is allowed as long as the rules are followed.

  • You may not rob a low level player (0-3 hours in the server);
  • You may not initiate a robbery if you are a low level player (0-3 hours in the server);
  • You may not rob if you character has more than $100.000;
  • You may not perform a robbing spree (1 hour break, between each one);
  • You may only rob 50% of the players inventory items;
  • You may only rob cash from a player if the amount doesn’t exceed over $1.000;
  • Credit card robbing is disallowed;
  • It is disallowed to rob ID’s and licenses;
  • You may not kill a player if he complied with the robbery.

16. Sexual Roleplay:
Erotic is prohibited unless all parties consent to it. It is not allowed to force sexual roleplay on to a player.

  1. Offensive Roleplay:
    You may not roleplay torture and gruesome roleplay without all parties consent.

18. Scamming:
Scamming is allowed as long as it is not script related, meaning you can not scam people of properties, vehicles and businesses.

19. Script Abuse:
It is strictly prohibited to abuse exploits and bugs. Game-breaking bugs must be reported at all times. The rule falls under:

  • Transfering your starter cash from other characters to your main;
  • Receiving cash from other players that have not motive;
  • Abusing exploits;
  • Abusing script jobs;
  • Abusing script bugs;
  • Using the sweeper job vehicles outside of the town;
  • Transfering assets from your main character to your alt-characters. You may not transfer any goods from any of your characters.

20. Point Of Contact:
If you are looking to contact a staff member follow the correct order.

  • Helpers (first point of contact)
  • Moderators
  • Administrators
  • Senior Administrators

21. Multi-accounting:
It is strictly forbidden to create a new account (changing your name in the SA:MP launcher) after you got banned or any other reason. If you get banned, you must appeal it accordingly.

22. Legal & Illegal characters:
You’re allowed to have illegal and legal characters, although the faction-leaders must have approved it beforehand. It is disallowed to participate in any activities that your other character directly has ties to it. That goes both ways. It is also strictly forbidden to use any information gained on any of the characters for miscellaneous use, this falls under the rule:

23. Faction Headquarters:
Players aren’t allowed to attack faction headquarters without a proper approval from Senior Administrator plus. This includes:

  • Robberies on the property
    If approved, the player(s) may not steal more than 50 percent of the total storage. (50% of each item, guns included)
    This rule does not apply to:
  • Drive-by’s and any other rivalrly activities that don’t have long-term consequences.

24. Burglaries:
It is strongly disallowed to witch-hunt other illegal factions and its members, this also counts for the respected properties.

  • You may only steal 50% of the storage in total;
  • You must have an in-character motive to perform a robbery;
  • If it’s a robbery on an illegal faction’s property (stash house etc.) you must have in-character evidence to back up the robbery;
  • You may only do one property robbery per day;

25. Cop baiting:
You may not deliberately antagonize or provoke in-game law enforcement with the intention of creating conflict or chaos. This behavior can disrupt the role-playing experience for all parties involved.

26. Unrealistic Driving:
To maintain realism and immersion, follow real-world traffic laws, drive responsibly, avoid stunts, don’t ram or bait other players, engage in driving roleplay, and refrain from using out-of-character information while driving. Consequences for reckless driving may include traffic citations or vehicle impoundment. This rule ensures a more authentic and enjoyable roleplaying experience.

27. Criminal Baiting:
Let’s keep the roleplay exciting and balanced. Don’t unnecessarily push criminals into action, and avoid loitering at faction hangout spots. This rule ensures a fair experience for all sides, and it’s important to note that even law enforcement can’t camp the black market. Let’s maintain a high-quality roleplaying environment for everyone.
